Music For Wind Dectet
Presenter: Pete Harrison with The Royal Academy of Music Junior Dept.
Session Abstract
From the WASBE2007.com web site:
We will play in an open rehearsal session where
we rehearse and discuss various pieces we would work on in a normal day
at the Academy, talk a bit about what we do every Saturday in the
Junior Department that gets our students out of bed before the sun is
up for 33 weeks of the year! This would be followed up by a concert
performance where we would perform the pieces worked on in the
rehearsal. We will be leaning gently towards the works of British
composers that are maybe not so well known.
