Call for Compositions — 2011 Conference

The Artistic Planning Committee for the 2011 WASBE Conference is seeking original compositions for wind band/ensemble for concerts and repertoire sessions. Composers and publishers wishing to have works considered for a concert are invited to send scores and recordings to the Odd Terje Lysebo so that they arrive before 30 June 2010. Scores may be sent either as hard copies or in PDF format and recordings either as CDs or MP3 files.

Composers and publishers wishing to have works considered for a repertoire session are invited to send scores and CD recordings to Jim Cochran so that they arrive before 31 March 2011.

Because of the limited performance opportunities, only a small number of works will be chosen. However, all works will be displayed and available for all attendees to study during the Conference.
